Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Peppers

These cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers are from Pik "n" Pak, in Lacombe, AB

If you live in central Alberta you may notice that your local supermarket will carry these veggies in their produce department.  If you are from another province you may know the greenhouse that supplies to your local area.

If you are a flyer reader you will notice that when vegetables are advertised it will say "Product of....." and name the country it is from.  I like to choose "Product of Canada".

When it comes to tomatoes, if I can't have ones from my very own garden........I like "ripened on the vine" the best.
